Prinz Pi is a German rapper born Friedrich Kautz in Berlin in 1979. He first recorded under the name Prinz Porno and became known for reflective, densely written German-language rap. His key albums include Donnerwetter, Rebell ohne Grund, Kompass ohne Norden and Im Westen nix Neues. The Kompass ohne Norden tour brought Prinz Pi’s material to concert halls across German-speaking Europe, followed by another headline run around Im Westen nix Neues. His festival history includes performances at splash! and Openair Frauenfeld.
