Progres 2 in Brno-Královo Pole

Progres 2 is a Czech progressive-rock band from Brno whose history began in 1968 with The Progress Organization. The group is known for the album Barnodaj and the concept works Dialog s vesmírem and Třetí kniha džunglí, which combine extended rock compositions with science-fiction and literary themes. Dialog s vesmírem reached the stage in 1978 as an audiovisual rock program, and Progres 2 performed it in theatres across Czechoslovakia. The group followed it in the early 1980s with another staged concert program built around Třetí kniha džunglí. Most Progres 2 concerts take place in the Czech Republic, while the band also performs in Slovakia.
