Project Pitchfork is a German electronic band formed in Hamburg in 1989 by Peter Spilles and Dirk Scheuber. The group plays dark electronic music rooted in darkwave, EBM and industrial, and is known for albums including Dhyani, IO and Daimon, as well as the song “Timekiller.” Project Pitchfork played its first concert at Hamburg’s Kir club in 1990. The band subsequently toured European clubs and performed at festivals including Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and M’era Luna Festival in Hildesheim.
