About Pupo
Pupo is an Italian pop singer-songwriter, born Enzo Ghinazzi in Ponticino, Tuscany, in 1955. He began recording in the 1970s and is known for songs including “Su di noi,” “Gelato al cioccolato,” “Forse” and “Firenze Santa Maria Novella.”
At the 1980 Sanremo Music Festival, he performed “Su di noi,” which became one of his signature songs. He toured the Soviet Union during the 1980s and later returned for concerts in Russia and other former Soviet republics. In 2010 he appeared at the festival again, performing “Italia amore mio” with Emanuele Filiberto and tenor Luca Canonici.
