Radiohead are an English alternative rock band formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in 1985 by Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien and Philip Selway. They are known for the single “Creep” and for albums including OK Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows, which brought electronic textures and experimental structures into their guitar-based sound. In 1997 and 1998, Radiohead toured OK Computer around the world, a period documented in Grant Gee’s film Meeting People Is Easy. For Kid A in 2000, they mounted a European tour in a custom-built big top. The A Moon Shaped Pool tour followed in 2016 and included a headline performance at Glastonbury in 2017. The live lineup has often expanded to six musicians: drummer Clive Deamer joined for The King of Limbs tour, allowing the band to perform its interlocking percussion parts onstage. In 2016, Radiohead played the Roundhouse concert hall in London, then staged two arena shows at Madison Square Garden in New York.
