System Of A Down in Melbourne

System Of A Down is an American alternative-metal band formed in Glendale, California, in 1994 by musicians of Armenian heritage. The group is known for the album Toxicity, the paired releases Mezmerize and Hypnotize, and songs including “Chop Suey!,” “Aerials” and “B.Y.O.B.” The band played Ozzfest in 1998 and returned to performing in 2011 after a multi-year hiatus. Its 2015 Wake Up the Souls tour marked the centenary of the Armenian genocide and concluded with a free concert at Republic Square in Yerevan. They also headlined Download Festival at Donington Park and performed at Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro.

Faith No More are an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1979. Their music encompasses alternative metal, funk, post-punk and experimental rock. The 1989 album The Real Thing includes their signature single “Epic,” while Angel Dust produced songs including “Midlife Crisis” and “A Small Victory.” In 1992, Faith No More opened dates on the Guns N’ Roses/Metallica Stadium Tour. After reuniting in 2009, their first concert back took place at O2 Academy Brixton, followed two days later by a headline performance at Download Festival. Their 2015 touring behind Sol Invictus included a North American run with Refused.
