Artist
Raimundo Amador is a Spanish guitarist and singer, born in Seville in 1959, whose music brings flamenco into direct contact with electric blues and rock. He played in Veneno with Kiko Veneno and his brother Rafael Amador, then formed Pata Negra with Rafael. His solo catalogue includes Gerundina and “Bolleré,” recorded with B.B. King. The 1998 concert Noche de flamenco y blues at Las Ventas in Madrid brought B.B. King, Kiko Veneno and other guests into Raimundo Amador’s live flamenco-blues format. In 2019, he marked his 60th birthday with a home-city concert at Cartuja Center CITE in Seville.
