About Read Southall Band
Read Southall Band was an American rock band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 2015 and led by singer-songwriter Read Southall. The group played red dirt country and Southern rock, becoming known for “Why,” “Clean Slate” and the albums Borrowed Time and For the Birds. In 2023, it shortened its billed name to Southall.
The concert album Live at Tower Theatre documents the group’s guitar-led, full-band stage format. Recorded before an audience, it preserves the band’s performance in Oklahoma City.
