Red Shahan in Costa Mesa

Red Shahan is an American country singer-songwriter from West Texas whose music draws on red dirt, outlaw country and roots rock. His records include Men & Coyotes, Culberson County and Javelina, and his best-known songs include the title tracks of those albums. Red Shahan documented his early club work on Live at the Blue Light, recorded at the Lubbock venue. He later carried his full-band show to Texas-country gatherings including Larry Joe Taylor’s Texas Music Festival and to the Oklahoma event Born & Raised.
