Gigi Masin in Brooklyn

Gigi Masin is an Italian composer and electronic musician from Venice whose work moves through ambient music, piano-led pieces and understated electronics. His 1986 album Wind, including the track “Clouds,” became central to his catalogue, while the compilation Talk to the Sea brought together recordings from across his earlier work. He also records in Gaussian Curve with Jonny Nash and Young Marco. A 2018 Boiler Room performance at Dekmantel Festival documented Gigi Masin playing keyboards and electronics in a solo live set. He has also presented his ambient work at Le Guess Who? in Utrecht.
