Rhod Gilbert Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Rhod Gilbert is a Welsh stand-up comedian and broadcaster, born in Carmarthen in 1968. His comedy is built around escalating stories and an exasperated stage persona, seen in shows including Rhod Gilbert and the Award-Winning Mince Pie and The Man with the Flaming Battenberg Tattoo. His television work includes Rhod Gilbert’s Work Experience and hosting Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

His 2005 solo show 1984 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe earned a Perrier Best Newcomer nomination. The theatre tours that followed expanded into arena dates, and The Man with the Flaming Battenberg Tattoo was recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo. The Book of John tour began in 2019 and was later interrupted by the pandemic and his treatment for cancer; after treatment, he returned to stand-up with Rhod Gilbert & the Giant Grapefruit.
