Richie Furay in San Juan Capistrano

Richie Furay is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Ohio in 1944, who helped found Buffalo Springfield and Poco. His country-rock and folk-rock catalogue includes “Kind Woman,” “A Child’s Claim to Fame,” “Pickin’ Up the Pieces” and “A Good Feelin’ to Know”; he later joined the Souther-Hillman-Furay Band and recorded as a solo artist. Buffalo Springfield reunited at the Bridge School Benefit in 2010, and Richie Furay joined the band’s short 2011 US tour, which included Bonnaroo. In 2015, he celebrated five decades of music at the Troubadour, performing songs associated with his bands and solo records.
