Ride are an English shoegaze and alternative rock band formed in Oxford in 1988. They became known for layered, effects-heavy guitars on the albums Nowhere and Going Blank Again, including the songs “Vapour Trail” and “Leave Them All Behind.” Ride performed at Reading Festival in 1992 during their original run. After separating in 1996, the four founding members reunited and returned to the stage in 2015 for appearances including Coachella and Primavera Sound. The later Nowhere30 tour featured a full performance of Nowhere.
