Robert Ellis in Pittsburgh

Robert Ellis is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Lake Jackson, Texas, in 1988. His country and folk songwriting is documented on albums including Photographs, The Lights from the Chemical Plant, the self-titled Robert Ellis and the piano-led Texas Piano Man. Robert Ellis hosted the weekly Whiskey Wednesdays shows at Fitzgerald’s in Houston, where he played country standards with his band. He later took his own catalog to larger stages, including a 2014 performance at the Newport Folk Festival.
