Robocobra Quartet are a Northern Irish experimental group formed in Belfast in 2014. They play spoken-word post-punk and experimental jazz built around drums, bass and reeds. Their albums include Music for All Occasions, Plays Hard to Get and Living Isn’t Easy. Robocobra Quartet have toured Britain, Ireland and continental Europe, playing clubs and festivals. They have performed at Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen and SXSW in Austin. The concert setup places bass and reeds around the drum kit, while drummer Chris Ryan delivers the spoken-word lead.
