Roger Daltrey in Port Chester

Roger Daltrey is an English rock singer, born in London in 1944, best known as the lead vocalist of The Who. His voice is central to songs including “My Generation,” “Baba O’Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” while his solo catalogue includes the albums Daltrey and Ride a Rock Horse, the McVicar soundtrack and the single “After the Fire.” In 1994, Daltrey presented Daltrey Sings Townshend at Carnegie Hall, performing Pete Townshend’s music with an orchestra and invited guests. He toured Tommy in 2011, singing the rock opera in full, then returned to the work for orchestral concerts in 2018. That interpretation was documented on the live album The Who’s Tommy Orchestral.

Amy Helm is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music draws on Americana, folk, country, blues and roots rock. She is known as a member of Ollabelle, as a vocalist in Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band and for the solo albums Didn’t It Rain, This Too Shall Light, What the Flood Leaves Behind and Silver City. Beginning in 2004, she performed at the Midnight Rambles held at her father’s barn in Woodstock, singing and playing mandolin as part of the house band. She later took part in the 2012 Love for Levon concert at the Izod Center, then built her own touring repertoire around her solo records. Her full-band concerts have also brought her back to Levon Helm Studios for performances of her own songs and music associated with Levon Helm.
