Artist
Rowwen Hèze is a Dutch band formed in 1985 in the Limburg village of America and led by singer and songwriter Jack Poels. They play folk-rock and Tex-Mex, singing mainly in the Limburgish dialect. Their best-known songs include “Bestel Mar,” “Limburg” and “Auto, Vliegtuug,” while Boem and Zondag in het Zuiden are among their established albums. Rowwen Hèze has performed at Pinkpop and has built much of its live work around theatre tours and large tent concerts. The recurring Slotconcert traditionally closes the band’s concert season in its home village of America.
