About Royal Hunt
Royal Hunt is a Danish progressive and power metal band formed in Copenhagen in 1989 by keyboardist and principal songwriter André Andersen. The band is known for melodic, keyboard-led metal and albums including Moving Target and the concept record Paradox, as well as songs such as “Last Goodbye” and “Message to God.”
The live album 1996 documented Royal Hunt on tour in Japan during the Moving Target period. Closing the Chapter followed with a concert performance of Paradox in full, also recorded in Japan, while 2006 Live preserved a later full-band concert in St. Petersburg.
