Artist
Rymden is a Norwegian-Swedish jazz trio formed in 2016 by pianist and keyboardist Bugge Wesseltoft, bassist Dan Berglund and drummer Magnus Öström. Berglund and Öström previously played together in Esbjörn Svensson Trio. Rymden’s instrumental contemporary jazz is documented on the albums Reflections & Odysseys, Space Sailors and Valleys & Mountains. Rymden made its concert debut at Nattjazz in Bergen in 2017. The group subsequently took the music from Reflections & Odysseys on the road in its piano-bass-drums format, and performed at JazzBaltica in 2019.
