Sakis Rouvas in Thessaloniki

Sakis Rouvas is a Greek pop singer and performer born on Corfu in 1972. He is closely associated with the Eurovision Song Contest through “Shake It” and “This Is Our Night,” while his wider catalogue draws on dance-pop, rock and contemporary laïko. At the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul, he performed “Shake It” as the Greek entry. He co-hosted the contest two years later and returned as a competitor in Moscow in 2009. In 2010, he and Anna Vissi began a series of Face2Face shows at Athens Arena. He has concentrated his concert and residency work in Greece and has also performed repeatedly in Cyprus.
