Sam Fender is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist from North Shields, born in 1994. His guitar-led rock is known through songs including “Dead Boys,” “Hypersonic Missiles” and “Seventeen Going Under,” as well as the albums Hypersonic Missiles and Seventeen Going Under. He performed on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage in 2022 and headlined Finsbury Park later that summer. In 2023, he followed those appearances with two homecoming concerts at St James’ Park. His venue history also includes O2 Academy Brixton in London and arena dates at Utilita Arena Newcastle.
Wunderhorse is a British alternative-rock band led by singer and guitarist Jacob Slater. The project began after Slater’s earlier band Dead Pretties ended and developed into a full band playing guitar rock with grunge and post-punk edges. The albums Cub and Midas include songs such as “Teal,” “Purple,” “July” and “Rain.” Wunderhorse supported Fontaines D.C. on UK and Irish dates in 2022, then performed at Glastonbury in 2023. The band played Reading and Leeds in 2024 before headlining larger rooms after the release of Midas, including a 2025 show at Alexandra Palace in London.
