Saves The Day in Glasgow

Saves The Day is an American rock band formed in Princeton, New Jersey, in 1994. Their melodic pop-punk and emo took shape on albums including Through Being Cool and Stay What You Are, the latter featuring “At Your Funeral” and “Freakish.” The band played the Vans Warped Tour in 2000, then joined Dashboard Confessional, Alkaline Trio and Hey Mercedes on the Vagrant America Tour in 2001. Dates on the Pop Disaster Tour followed in 2002, alongside Green Day and blink-182. In 2019, Saves The Day toured with Hot Rod Circuit for anniversary performances of Through Being Cool and Sorry About Tomorrow; singer and guitarist Chris Conley remained at the center of those shows.

Chastity is a Canadian rock project formed in 2015 by Brandon Williams, a musician from Whitby, Ontario. Williams enlisted friends to develop songs that pair post-hardcore weight with 1990s alternative guitar rock, shoegaze and hardcore. The project’s albums include Death Lust, Home Made Satan and Suffer Summer; the latter featured songwriting contributions from PUP’s Stefan Babcock and a vocal appearance by Dallas Green. Chastity toured internationally and opened for DIIV in 2019. Williams also hosted DIY shows in a barn outside Whitby, using the events to raise money for local mental-health support organizations.
