Saxsquatch is an American saxophonist and electronic-music performer who appears in a full Bigfoot costume. The character became known through online videos of saxophone covers and dance-oriented arrangements, including a version of “Maneater” recorded with John Oates. During the COVID-19 shutdowns, Saxsquatch broadcast performances from wooded settings, using the internet as a live stage for the costumed character. The act later moved into ticketed club and festival shows, where Saxsquatch performs in character on saxophone over electronic tracks.
