Scott Matthews in Glasgow

Scott Matthews is a British singer-songwriter from Wolverhampton whose music draws on acoustic folk and alternative rock. His debut album, Passing Stranger, introduced “Elusive,” which won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically; later records include Elsewhere, What the Night Delivers and Home Part 1. Foo Fighters invited Matthews to support their acoustic theatre dates, placing his solo material before arena audiences. He performed at Glastonbury Festival in 2007 and later opened shows on Robert Plant’s Band of Joy tour.
