Secret Service is a Swedish synth-pop band formed in Stockholm in 1979, led on its early recordings by singer Ola Håkansson. The group became known for melodic electronic pop including “Oh Susie,” “Ten O’Clock Postman” and “Flash in the Night,” the latter appearing on the album Cutting Corners.

Secret Service appeared at the Sopot International Song Festival in 1980 as its first records were reaching audiences beyond Sweden. The band later returned to the stage for retro-pop events, including Avtoradio’s Discoteka 80s in Moscow, where its early singles formed the core of the set.
