Serge Fiori in Gatineau

Serge Fiori is a Canadian singer-songwriter, guitarist and composer born in Montreal in 1952. He co-founded the progressive folk-rock group Harmonium and wrote or co-wrote much of its repertoire, including “Pour un instant” and the albums Si on avait besoin d’une cinquième saison and L’Heptade. His later work includes Deux cents nuits à l’heure with Richard Séguin and the solo album Serge Fiori. In 1976 and 1977, Harmonium presented L’Heptade on tour using an expanded ensemble that reflected the album’s orchestral arrangements. A 1977 performance was later released as the live album Harmonium en tournée, preserving that lineup’s concert sound in Vancouver.
