Shahram Shabpareh is an Iranian singer, songwriter and musician, born in 1948. A founder and drummer of the Black Cats, he later established a solo career in dance-oriented Persian pop and rock, recording songs including “Deyar,” “Yavash Yavash” and “Dokhtar Bandari.”

In the 1960s, he performed as a drummer and bandleader in Tehran clubs before taking his own songs to the stage. After settling in the United States, he presented his solo repertoire in theatres and concert halls for Persian-speaking audiences in Los Angeles.
