She & Him in Los Angeles

She & Him is an American indie-pop and folk duo formed in Portland, Oregon, in 2006 by singer and actor Zooey Deschanel and guitarist and producer M. Ward. Deschanel’s vocals and songwriting sit at the center of albums including Volume One, Volume Two and A Very She & Him Christmas; their best-known songs include “Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?” and “In the Sun.” In 2008, She & Him toured North America behind Volume One. The duo performed at Coachella and Bonnaroo in 2010 while supporting Volume Two, then made their holiday records the basis of seasonal theatre concerts billed as A Very She & Him Christmas Party.

Jordana is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist raised in Wichita, Kansas, whose music moves through lo-fi indie pop, dream pop and guitar-led rock. She introduced herself with the album Classical Notions of Happiness, then released Something to Say to You, the TV Girl collaboration Summer’s Over and the albums Face the Wall and Lively Premonition. Jordana toured North America with TV Girl after the release of Summer’s Over, bringing their shared songs to the stage as part of the same run. In 2022, she reached larger rooms as a support act on dates of the Tell Me That It’s Over Tour by Wallows.
