ShitKid is a Swedish lo-fi punk project created by singer, songwriter and guitarist Åsa Söderqvist. Raw home recordings established its sound, while the album Fish and songs including “Oh Please Be a Cocky Cool Kid” and “Sugar Town” brought the project a wider audience. ShitKid played Roskilde Festival and toured European clubs as support for Melvins. The concerts presented Söderqvist’s short, distorted songs in a compact guitar-and-drums format on the Melvins tour.
