SHOW-YA in Osaka

SHOW-YA is a Japanese all-female hard rock and heavy metal band formed in 1981 and fronted by vocalist Keiko Terada. The group is known for songs including “Genkai Lovers” and “Watashi wa Arashi,” as well as the albums Outerlimits and Hard Way. In 1987, SHOW-YA launched and hosted the all-female rock festival Naon no Yaon at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall. After disbanding in 1998, the group reunited in 2005, and SHOW-YA returned as host when Naon no Yaon was revived in 2008.
