Smerz are a Norwegian electronic duo formed by Henriette Motzfeldt and Catharina Stoltenberg in Copenhagen in 2013. Their sparse club production, R&B-inflected vocals and experimental pop writing shape releases including the EPs Okey and Have fun and their debut album, Believer. Smerz have performed at Roskilde Festival and Primavera Sound as a two-person electronic act, with both members handling vocals and electronics. They later developed Allina as a staged musical work presented at MUNCH in Oslo.
