About Smith/Kotzen
Smith/Kotzen is a British-American hard-rock duo formed by Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith and singer-guitarist Richie Kotzen of The Winery Dogs. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2021, led by songs including “Taking My Chances” and “Scars,” and was followed by the Better Days EP.
Smith/Kotzen made their live debut at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood in 2022, then toured clubs and theatres in the United States and Britain as a full band. Their first year of concerts also included a performance at Download Festival.
Both musicians sing and play guitar in the touring lineup, trading lead parts across their joint material. Julia Lage plays bass and Bruno Valverde plays drums.
