Snoop Dogg is an American rapper born in Long Beach, California, in 1971. He helped bring West Coast G-funk into the mainstream through his appearances on Dr. Dre’s The Chronic and his debut album Doggystyle, which includes “Who Am I? (What’s My Name?)” and “Gin and Juice.” The Up in Smoke Tour put Snoop Dogg on North American arena stages in 2000 as part of a lineup led by Dr. Dre and also featuring Eminem and Ice Cube. In 2012, he reunited with Dr. Dre for their Coachella set, remembered for the projected appearance of Tupac Shakur. He later co-headlined the High Road Summer Tour with Wiz Khalifa in 2016. His headline dates have included arena shows at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and AO Arena in Manchester.
T-Pain is an American singer, rapper, songwriter and producer born in Tallahassee, Florida, in 1984. His digitally treated vocal style became a hallmark of 2000s pop and hip-hop, heard on songs including “I’m Sprung,” “Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin’)” and “Bartender.” His early albums include Rappa Ternt Sanga and Epiphany. His 2014 NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert presented “Buy U a Drank,” “Up Down” and “Drankin’ Patna” in a voice-and-piano arrangement. In 2022, the Road to Wiscansin Tour led into Wiscansin Fest in Milwaukee, a festival created and headlined by T-Pain. The Escape from Wiscansin concert series followed in 2023.
