Spięty is the solo project of Polish singer, guitarist and songwriter Hubert Dobaczewski, the frontman of Lao Che. He debuted under this name with the 2009 album Antyszanty, which reworked maritime-song motifs through alternative rock and electronics; later solo releases include Black Mental and Heartcore. Spięty toured Polish clubs with a band in support of Black Mental, then carried that ensemble format into concerts built around Heartcore. At these shows, Hubert Dobaczewski leads the band on vocals and guitar.
