About Starchild & The New Romantic
Starchild & The New Romantic is the solo project of Bryndon Cook, a Washington, D.C.-born singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. Cook debuted the project with the Night Music EP in 2012. Ghostly International later released the EP Crucial and debut album Language, followed by Cook’s self-released Forever.
Starchild & The New Romantic toured with Solange, Dev Hynes, Chairlift and Kindness, while Cook also served as Solange’s musical director and bandleader. The release Live at National Sawdust documents a performance in Brooklyn.
