About Stare Dobre Małżeństwo
Stare Dobre Małżeństwo is a Polish sung-poetry and folk-rock group formed in 1983 around singer-songwriter Krzysztof Myszkowski. Its repertoire draws heavily on poems by Edward Stachura, Adam Ziemianin and Józef Baran, and includes songs such as “Czarny blues o czwartej nad ranem,” “Bieszczadzkie anioły” and “Gloria.”
In 1984, the group entered the qualifying rounds of the 20th Studencki Festiwal Piosenki in Kraków under the name Stare Dobre Małżeństwo. The musicians later initiated and helped organize the Bieszczadzkie Anioły festival, where the group performed in the Bieszczady Mountains.
