About STEELHEART
STEELHEART is an American hard-rock band formed in Norwalk, Connecticut, in 1989 around singer Miljenko Matijevic. The group’s self-titled debut introduced “I’ll Never Let You Go (Angel Eyes)” and “She’s Gone,” while the follow-up album Tangled in Reins included “Mama Don’t You Cry.”
In 1992, STEELHEART toured as the opening act for Slaughter. During a Halloween concert at McNichols Sports Arena in Denver, Matijevic was struck by a falling lighting truss and sustained serious injuries, bringing the tour to an abrupt end. After returning with a new lineup, the band performed at Rocklahoma in 2008.
