About Stereophonics
Stereophonics are a Welsh rock band formed in Cwmaman in 1992. Fronted by singer and guitarist Kelly Jones, they are known for albums including Word Gets Around, Performance and Cocktails and Just Enough Education to Perform, as well as songs such as “Dakota,” “Maybe Tomorrow,” “Have a Nice Day” and “Local Boy in the Photograph.”
In 1999, Stereophonics played Morfa Stadium in Swansea and released a film of the concert. They staged the A Day at the Races shows at Donington Park and Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium in 2001, then headlined the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival the following year.
Away from Wales, they performed at Live 8 in London’s Hyde Park in 2005 and later headlined the Isle of Wight Festival in 2016.
