About Steve Gadd Band

Steve Gadd Band is an American jazz-fusion group led by drummer Steve Gadd, whose session work includes recordings with Paul Simon, Steely Dan and Chick Corea. The group plays instrumental jazz-funk built around Gadd’s drumming, and its albums include Gadditude, 70 Strong and the Grammy-winning Steve Gadd Band.

In 2015, the group performed in Gadd’s hometown of Rochester at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre; the concert was released as Way Back Home: Live from Rochester, NY. The band also brought this repertoire to multi-night club engagements at Blue Note Tokyo and Ronnie Scott’s in London.
