Stone Foundation in Stockton-on-Tees

Stone Foundation are a British soul band formed in the Midlands in 1998 by Neil Jones and Neil Sheasby. They play horn-led soul shaped by funk and jazz, and are known for albums including Street Rituals, produced by Paul Weller, and Is Love Enough?, as well as songs such as “Your Balloon Is Rising.” The Street Rituals tour brought the band to Islington Assembly Hall in 2017, where they recorded the performance released as Live Rituals. They have also supported The Specials on tour and built their own concert schedule around clubs, theatres and festivals. Most of their shows take place across Britain and continental Europe, while headline dates have also taken Stone Foundation to Japan, where they have performed at Fuji Rock.
