Stornoway are a British indie-folk band formed in Oxford in 2006. Their acoustic pop, close vocal harmonies and natural-history imagery came to wider attention through the debut album Beachcomber’s Windowsill and songs including “Zorbing,” “I Saw You Blink” and “Fuel Up.” Later albums include Tales from Terra Firma and Bonxie. In 2010, Stornoway played the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival while touring their debut. Tours behind their subsequent records followed, leading to a farewell run in 2017. The band reunited onstage at Truck Festival in 2022.
