Sun Kil Moon in Montreal

Sun Kil Moon is an American folk-rock project formed in San Francisco by singer-songwriter Mark Kozelek after his work with Red House Painters. The project is known for the albums Ghosts of the Great Highway and Benji, and for songs including “Carry Me Ohio” and “Carissa.” The 2006 concert album Little Drummer Boy Live documented the project’s early live repertoire. During the concert cycle around Benji in 2014, Sun Kil Moon performed at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and later that year at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago.
