About SURL

SURL is a South Korean indie-rock band formed in Seoul in 2018. Their guitar-led sound also draws on indie pop and dream pop, and their best-known releases include the debut EP Aren’t You?, the songs “Snow,” “Dry Flower” and “Don’t Say No,” and the full-length album of us.

SURL performed at SXSW in Austin in 2019, marking an early appearance in the United States. Following the release of of us, the band returned to North America for its 2023 review of us tour.
