Sven Regener in Karlsruhe

Sven Regener is a German musician, songwriter and author, born in Bremen in 1961. He co-founded the Berlin rock band Element of Crime in 1985 and became its singer, trumpeter and principal lyricist; the band is known for songs including “Weißes Papier,” “Delmenhorst” and “Am Ende denk ich immer nur an dich.” Regener also wrote the novels Herr Lehmann, Neue Vahr Süd and Der kleine Bruder. Regener has presented his fiction in author readings and narrated the German audiobook editions of his own novels. His other long-running stage format is the full-band concert: he sings and plays guitar and trumpet in Element of Crime.
