About Tankus the Henge
Tankus the Henge are a British band formed in London in 2007, playing piano-led rock shaped by funk, jazz and New Orleans rhythm and blues. Singer and pianist Jaz Delorean leads the group, whose releases include the self-titled debut album, I Crave Affection Baby and Luna Park!, as well as songs such as “Smiling Makes the Day Go Quicker” and “Cakewalk.”
Tankus the Henge have performed at Glastonbury Festival and Boomtown Fair during years of touring clubs, theatres and festivals. Their concerts feature Delorean on piano and vocals at the head of a full band that includes brass, guitar, bass and drums. The same ensemble carried their live work beyond Britain to events including Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
