Artist
Tanzwut are a German band formed in Berlin in 1998 by musicians from Corvus Corax. They play medieval metal and industrial rock, setting heavy guitars and electronic rhythms against bagpipes and other historical instruments. The albums Ihr wolltet Spaß and Freitag der 13. are among their established works. Tanzwut have performed at Wacken Open Air using a full rock lineup and the medieval wind instruments central to their records. Their festival history also includes M’era Luna and Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig.
