About The 1975
The 1975 are a British alternative pop and rock band formed in Wilmslow, Cheshire, by school friends Matty Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald and George Daniel. Their self-titled 2013 debut featured “Chocolate”; later releases included “Somebody Else,” “Love It If We Made It” and the albums A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships and Being Funny in a Foreign Language.
The I Like It When You Sleep Tour took them through theatres, arenas and festivals in 2016 and 2017, followed by the Music for Cars Tour. In 2022, At Their Very Best placed the band inside a house set and divided the performance into two sections; its Madison Square Garden concert was livestreamed and later released as a live album.
Festival appearances included Coachella and Glastonbury. The 1975 also headlined Reading and Leeds in 2019 and 2022.
