Artist
The 5.6.7.8's are a Japanese garage-rock band formed in Tokyo in 1986. They play raw rock and roll shaped by rockabilly, surf music and punk. Quentin Tarantino featured the group performing in Kill Bill: Volume 1, including their cover of the Rock-A-Teens song “Woo Hoo.” During the 1990s, The 5.6.7.8's took their compact club show beyond Japan on international tours. A later performance at Third Man Records in Nashville was documented on the live album Live at Third Man Records. The group performs with guitar, bass and drums. Ronnie Fujiyama fronts the set on vocals and guitar.
