The Prodigy in Düsseldorf

The Prodigy are an English electronic group formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer Liam Howlett. Their music draws on breakbeat hardcore, rave and electronic rock. They are known for the albums Music for the Jilted Generation and The Fat of the Land, and for tracks including “Firestarter,” “Breathe” and “Smack My Bitch Up.” In 2010, The Prodigy headlined their Warrior’s Dance Festival at Milton Keynes Bowl; the performance was released as the concert film and live album World’s on Fire. Following Keith Flint’s death in 2019, Liam Howlett and Maxim brought the group back to the stage on the 2022 Army of the Ants tour, the group’s first dates since his death. The Prodigy have also performed at Coachella in California and at Australia’s Big Day Out.
