The Australian Pink Floyd Show is an Australian tribute band formed in Adelaide in 1988. It is known for performing Pink Floyd’s progressive and psychedelic rock catalogue, including material from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall. In 1996, the group performed at David Gilmour’s 50th birthday party. In 2004, it presented The Dark Side of the Moon at King’s Dock in Liverpool, accompanied by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Concerts feature a rock band, backing vocalists and saxophone, supported by a circular screen, film projections, lasers and inflatable props. The repertoire spans the early psychedelic period led by Syd Barrett and the later works shaped by Roger Waters and David Gilmour.
